Re: how to configure ACS backup server if primary goes down

Hi Manish,

To backup 2 ACS servers, you have to add secondary ACS into primary ACS and marked components that neet to be replicated. Same goes to Seconday ACS.

Summary:

a. Primary ACS

- In Network Configuration, add secondary ACS to the AAA Servers table.

- From main menu, go to System Configuration - Secure Database Replication.

- Select the Send check box for each database component to send to the secondary server.

- Under the Replication Partners, add the secondary ACS server to the Replication Partner column.

b. Secondary (backup) ACS

- In Network Configuration, add primary ACS to the AAA Servers table.

- From main menu, go to System Configuration - Secure Database Replication.

- Click the Receive check box for each database component to be received from a primary server

The exact details on how to it is available at the followin url:

Hope this helps.

Rgds,

AK
