In IOS you can use multiple tacacs-server host commands to specify additional hosts. The Cisco IOS software searches for hosts in the order in which you specify them.
In CatOS you can configure a maximum of three servers. The primary server, if configured, is contacted first. If no primary server is configured, the first server configured becomes the primary server.
