Hi
We have two server RADIUS on the network.
The first is the primary and the second the secondary.
But a part of the trafic go to the secondary.
How to configure the system if I want all the trafic go to the primary ? and how to configure the system if I want trafic go to the secondary only if the first is down ?
Thanks for your help

I have done some tests with the tacacs server group command in IOS.
The order of the configured servers made the decission
there. The router has contacted the first one in the group first. If there was no response the next one
has been contacted. Should be the same for RADIUS and
should be the same if no server group is configured.
Bye. Thomas.

Thanks
In the config of the client (firewall, router...)
the Primary is in first !!
But the trafic goes in the second and the first in the journey.
But in the night the trafic goes by the first.

i've pondered this same problem...the only answers i've come up with is manual intervention or using a load-balancer to front-end the radius servers. as soon as we get acs to stabilize, i will be load-balancing between my tacacs+ servers.... :(
