Hi,
On our routers and switches we don't have to put in an enable password when logging in becasue of the priv 15 configured on the vty lines. How can I accomplish this on the ASAs? Can't find where to out it in the config.

Sorry, can't do that.
ASA does not allow that, enable Authentication is a mandate and ASA will ignore the priv 15 if you send it from the server end.

what is the purpose of having to type enable, then another password? Another layer of security?
