Questions about Aironet 350 AP

Hello,

I am planning to buy the AP for my experiment, and I have some questioins about the features of the Aironet 350 AP.

1. If I sent the EAPOL packet with non-standard (i.e. unknow to AP) EAP type, will the AP discard the packet or correctly encaptulate the EAPOL body (i.e. the EAP message) to the RADIUS packet?

2. If the AP receieves the EAPOL packet containing EAP identifier response with NAI form ( i.e. user_id@radius_server_ip ), will the AP sent the authentication request to the corresponding RADIUS server?

To answer yourfirst question before a device establishes communication with the

AP,it should decide upon security protocol. So, I feel this scenario of getting

an unknown security type should not exist. Check these Links:
