I have a remote site connected via VPN, and I have AAA authentication to the network equipment at the location. Is there anyway to designata a specific ip address on the device that is handling the VPN tunneling? Only the private ips on the LAN side are rouatable through the VPN tunnel, so I need to have the source IP address that of the ethernet interface. Thanks in advanced!
I do not understand your question. The title talks about radius source, the message mentions AAA authentication and it mentions VPN with local and remote equipment. Are you interested in specifying the source for AAA transactions or for VPN? And is this equipment handling the VPN tunneling a router, a VPN concentrator, or a firewall? When we understand better what you are asking we should be able to give you answers.
I will make a guess that you want to specify the address for AAA transactions from a router. The way to do that is with the command:
ip radius source-interface
If that is not what you need, then please clarify.
