Recommended Retention for ACS Logs

I wanted to know what the recommeded retention time for ACS log are on the server.

I have 3.3 on a Windows server, and I need to be careful not to fill up the drive with logs. The entire drive is backed up to tape daily so I can go back further if necessary.

I'm thinking of 30 days for the standard logs, and 7 days for back up DMP files. Does anyone have any suggestions/comments?

Thanks,

Ray

Ray,

You can prevent the logs from eating up the disk space by deleting the old logs from the CSxxxx Folders inside program files.

Reduce the logging in ACS please lower the logging level in System Configuration>>to

Low and if it is not a compromise on the security policy kindly set the Manage Directory to Keep only the last 3-4 Files.

This will not harm your ACS server in any way.

Regards,

~JG
