I get "Inbound database replication from remote host has errors - refer to CSAuth logfile" messages in the replication log, and cheching csath shows:

I presume you're seeing these messages on the secondary (replication client), correct? If so, then these are purely cosmetic and indicate that the file did not need updating. The message that the file was not received and is being skipped is correct, what it really means is that the file didn't need updating and so was not sent from the primary.
When looking at replication logs always look at the primary's log, it's the important one. you will quite often see errors like this on the secondary.
