I'm working on to get SIM authentication work in WLAN.
How exactly is Cisco IP Transfer Point connected to Home Location Register of AuC?
I would like to get full detailed APIs beetween Access Registrar (AAA) <-> Cisco IP Transfer Point <-> SS7 (AuC).
Can someone help me on this or tell who to contact to please.
Thanks,
Jori

Hi Jori,
The home location register (HLR) is the central database for all users to register to the GSM network. Associated with the HLR is the authentication center (AuC); this database contains the algorithms for authenticating subscribers and the necessary keys for encryption to safeguard the user input for authentication.
The details of their working in a GSM environment can be found in the following document.
You couls also refer to the following white papers for more information.

Thank you for your answer.
The problem is that IP Transfer point I'm using is made by Ericsson and Im trying to figure it out if it is possible to make software that makes it compatible with Access registrar.
So what I need are programming interfaces & protocol stacks used beetween Access Registrar & Cisco IP transfer point.
For some reason I cant access 2nd link you gave me (white papers), keeps saying that my password is not correct???
