I have an old Cisco ACS appliance running 3.3(1) Build 16, very old and now not really used. We also have a Cisco ACS Windows server running 4.2(0) Build 214, which runs all the authentication for our wireless network using local database and Active Directory links.
What i have is really 2 questions,
Firstly, is it possible to upgrade the appliance to the same software level as the windows server?
Secondly, would it then be possible to sync the Windows server database with the appliance, so that the appliance would act as a secondary mirror of the windows server. The aim would be to deploy the appliance at a remote site to support link failure to the main ACS.
