Upgrading from ACS 3.1.1 to 3.2.1

When I try to upgrade ACS 3.1.1 to 3.2.1, the installation went fine until the homepage refuse to appear (i.e. http://127.0.0.1:2002). However, a fresh new ACS 3.2 installation (ie. no upgrade) will have no problem.

I am running w2k server with IE6.0SP1.

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?

Appreciate your help.

Re: Upgrading from ACS 3.1.1 to 3.2.1

Hello,

Please make sure that you go thru the following requirement -

http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/access/acs_soft/csacs4nt/acs32/win32sig.htm#9523

SP3 is required for acs 3.2.1, so you may want to upgrade sp3 after upgrading. How did you perform the upgrade? Just running setup.exe on acs 3.1.1? If thats the case, pl. uninstall ACS 3.1.1 and don't remove the database during the uninstall, then reboot the server, and finally install the ACS 3.2.1 and when it asked if you want to use the database the insatllation detected from your earlier version, please answer Yes. This may ressolve the issue, provided you have all the hw/sw requirement.

Regards,

Mynul
