ACE 4710 and insert-http x-forward header-value "%is"

I have enabled insert-http x-forward header-value "%is" on my ACE but the HTTP servers are only showing the ACE ip address and not the source address.  do they have to enable something on the Logfile to display the source address

Hi,

Basically what you did with that change was to force the ACE to add an extra header inside the HTTP packets to include the original IP address from the client, the NAT will work the exact same way. You need to check the options for your HTTP server and enable the "logging" of this new http header, i.e on IIS you enable an API to log X-Forwarded-For.
