ACE 4710 Failover State SNMP trap notification

Hi  ,

Managed to set up the connection between the ACE and an SNMP monitoring system. Tested it and found that it was working fine for SNMP performance parameters and traps like linkup/linkdown.

Problem now is that we would like to monitor the failover state /receive notification during failover state change for the ACE. I've uploaded the relevant MIB files (CISCO-L4L7MODULE-REDUNDANCY-MIB.my) to the monitoring system but they are not receiving any SNMP traps / notifications of failover state changes.

Any other configurations that need to be done on the ACE ? snmp-server traps enable command doesn't list anything for failover state change.

Also , is it possible to verify if the "clrRedundancyStateChange" command is being sent out.

At the moment we do not have SNMP FT traps implemented for the ACE. Instead we rely on Linkup/Linkdown messages to detect change of state. You can also use syslog messages.
