ACE 4710 not booting

Hi everyone.

I've just run the ACE 4710 and it seems that is booting up well but it stops when 'Setting up dynamic memory size' message appears.

INIT: version 2.85 booting

b4 lspci

1 Cavium device(s) found.

Bringing up NP 0

Downloading U-Boot to NP card 0

Downloading DP image to NP card 0

Starting DP image on NP card on all cores

DP image started on NP card

Setting up dynamic memory size

I've tried to reboot it several times with the same result.

ACE 4710 not booting

Hi,

Previous instances of same error message indicate hardware issue and hence i would suggest opening a case with TAC.

This message generally comes in A4 code since it had additional memory checks built in which were not there in previous version of the code and when those checks are done, the device may fail to boot.
