ACE 4710 Version A3(2.5) device manager cannot authenticate

Hi.

Recently I updated an ACE appliance software from A3(2.3) to A3(2.5) version. Before the upgrade I used to succesfuly access the device manager, but after the update when I put the user and password, the following message appears preventing the access to the device manager console.

Cannot authenticate: unknown login IP address 1.1.1.1

1.1.1.1 is the IP address of the interface vlan configured in the ace (configured in one arm), and there is no AAA service enabled (local user database authentication).

Someone have experienced the same issue? Could it be related with the A3(2.5) version? In what I understand, the device manager software is embedded in the ace software.

Hi.

After fighting a few hours with the ace and cisco documentation, I found in a link the "dm reload" command, who fixed the issue without affecting ace functionality.
