ACE: context design with shared vlans

Gurus,

I have a ACE-context design at my hand, the design includes the following:

FWSM-----ACE-ContextA-----REAL Servers1.

-----ACE-ContextB-----REAL Servers2.

1. There is a shared vlan between firewall and ACE which is fine.

2. we have a shared vlan between the 2 contexts , these contexts are catering to 2 different serverfarms.

This is where my queries lies, do we have any design related issues in this scenario.

Can we have 2 contexts catering to 2 serverfarms share a common subnet or not ?

have attached a slide for some insight.

Thanx

Shukla.

you can share a vlan but you need to use the command 'shared-vlan-hostid X' and 'peer shared-vlan-hostid Y' so they do not use the same mac-addresses.
