We created a capture on an ACE30 module A5(1.2). Used the capture a couple of times. Copied cap files to disk0, then offloaded. It appears that the capture buffer may still be alive, but we cannot open the capture, remove the capture or display the capture.
Is there a way to clear the memory or kill the process that is running the capture?
Now the capture will not run. We get the following replies from shown command lines:
BRTDCSCRTR2/INTRA-PROD# sho capture ALL_TRAFFIC detail
tnrpc call pktcap_capture_buffer_show failed, return value = -1
BRTDCSCRTR2/INTRA-PROD# sho capture ALL_TRAFFIC status
tnrpc call pktcap_capture_buffer_show failed, return value = -1
BRTDCSCRTR2/INTRA-PROD# capture ALL_TRAFFIC stop
Error: Pktcap session is not in progress
BRTDCSCRTR2/INTRA-PROD# capture ALL_TRAFFIC remove
Error: Failure freeing pktcap capture session
BRTDCSCRTR2/INTRA-PROD# clear capture ?
<WORD> Capture buffer name (Max Size - 80)
ALL_TRAFFIC
(shows there is actually a buffer named ALL_TRAFFIC)
BRTDCSCRTR2/INTRA-PROD# clear capture ALL_TRAFFIC
Capture not exist.
(thinks that the buffe ALL_TRAFFIC does not exist)
