ACNS, HTTP Streaming and Macintosh

I have installed a Cisco CDN for a customer running ACNS 5.0.3. The prepositioned videos are in .wmv format and I have enabled WMT on the content engine (CE). Due to issues surrounding the operating environment, I am only enabling HTTP streaming out of the CE. PC's running Windows Media Players have no problem receiving the video. However, Macintosh systems also running Windows Media Player seem to receive the data (according to the player's statistics page) but nothing plays, either video or audio. When I enable "MMS" on the CE, the MAC's play OK. It does not matter what version of Media PLayer they are running.

Have you seen bug CSCdx31582- Macintosh wont play WMT from CE (ecdn). Guess this is similar to the issue that you have.

It now works. I went ahead and upgraded to ACNS version 5.1.5 (b2).

Thanks, R2
