Authentication in ACE Web Probes

Has anyone configured 'credentials' in a HTTP Web Probe? I have tried and it doesnt work with a 401 code returned. I can use the same credentials to logon manually to the rservers. So what gives? Is there a 'domain' parameter that can be separately passed for the web server authentication?

What kind of authentication does your server use ?

I believe we only support basic authentication.

Take a sniffer trace and see what your server does.

If the basic authentication does not work, you may havez to implement a script to do what you need.

We use Windows AD integrated authentication. Can you provide me a sample script that can be used for authentication? Thanks.

Sorry, but I do not have such a script.

And I believe Windows AD will be difficult to implement inside a script.

Not impossible but really complex...and the number one rule of a probe script : keep it simple.

So, you should find alternatives.
