Backup Server on CSS

Hi All,

we have a customer that wants the follewing:

He has a service, when the real server fails he wants a backup real server. The service will be done only on tcp with port numbers, not with a url.

Has anyone an idea how i can manage this with a css ???

you need to use a primarysorryserver under the content rule.

ie:

service A

ip x.x.x.x

ative

service BACKUP

ip x.x.x.x

active

owner MyCompany

content TCP-APP

vip x.x.x.x

proto tcp

port x

add service A

primarySorryServer BACKUP

active
