CDN edge device redirecting content requests to the origin server
We are running ACNS 5.5 for distributing video clips to offices on our Network. That part works great, but I want more.
I have an Internal web site that I would like to have point to the various edge CE's for it's images (only images to start). When the images are on the edge CE, everything works fine, but when I change the image, the CE doesn't have the new image and doesn't send the request to the Origin server. I manually start the Content Acquisition, wait a few minutes, and it'll work.
I use a Crawl job to check for content changes. Under it's properties is a checkbox that Allows/Disallows the edge device from going back to the Origin server if it doesn't have the content being requested. Both checked and un-checked give me the same thing...not what I want.
From my reading, this should be simple. Well, it's so simple I can't figure out where I'm going wrong.
