CE & Websense

Hi

We had the following scenario and everything was great. We had 2 Websense policies that looked for client source IP Address.<br>

                              Websense

                                   &nbsp    |

Client------WAN--------PIX-----3640----Inet<br>

We now have bought a CE550 running 2.5.1 s/w.

And the following topology:<br>

                              Websense

                                     &nbsp    |

Client---WAN----CE----PIX-----3640----Inet<br>

We have a problem with this topology because Websense only sees the source IP of the CE, not client PC's.

If we moved Websense to be linked to the CE, would the CE see the client source IP?

For example:<br>

                  &nbsp    Websense

                          &nbsp    |

Client---WAN----CE----PIX----3640----Inet <br>

Yes, if you move Websense to the CE then it will see the client's source ip address. That is how we run.
