Hi,
We are going to make the change of site. In this site is the Primary GSSM and two ACEs. My question is what would be the best practice to down this site.
Should I change the role of GSSM (Standby to Active) during the change of site?
Regards,
Jaime.

Hi Jaime,
The GSSM is only taking care of the management GUI for the GSS devices, so, unless you also plan to make changes to the GSLB configuration during the maintenance window, there is no need to force a GSSM role change.
Assuming that the ACEs in the site are configured as answers in GSS, then, you should consider suspending them from the answer group to stop new requests from being sent to them during the downtime.

Thanks Daniel.
I´m going to change IPs in new site. I have thought to do the following:
1. Suspend answer the site to change.
2. Connect new sites
3. Verify GSSM-Primary and GSSM-Standby
4. Make changes for new IPs (answer) in Primary GSS.
5. Activate answer
Regards,
Jaime.
