I have a quick question about the NIST Net software. We are using it for WAN simulation. We're attempting to test a WAN environment and need to know how to calculate a drd value that is acceptable. We tried the default Cisco values of 79 & 80, but these do not scale for fat-pipe circuits of 100 Mbps to 800 Mbps. How do we calculate the drd or establish what an acceptable value is for our bandwidth/latency settings?
