client nat in CSM operating in bridge mode

I have a CSM running in bridge mode. The client vlan default route is to a FWSM. The server default routes to the FWSM vlan interface through the CSM just fine. Is there a way to do client NAT in bridge mode ? For testing purposes, would like to have inbound requests come through FWSM, then pick up an IP address from client NAT pool on CSM before hitting server. Server would have default route to some other box on network, not FWSM. Will this work?

yes this will work.

However, your servers will lose information about which client connects to it since the client ip will be replaced by CSM natpool address.

Gilles.

Thanks, Gilles. I got it working-- found my config error in FWSM.
