CPU% of CSM module

Hi everybody,

Do you know how can I understand the CPU utilization on the module CSM?

I use the comand: show mod csm all tech-s util, but I am not able to understand the real % of utilization like "show process cpu".

Could you help me?

there are 6 processors in the CSM.

So when looking at the cpu, the command gives you all processors info.

There are 5 IXP, each one will show a percentage.

Then there 1 PPC, which always runs at 100% as the total is divided among all the processes.

Each process is given to you with a name and a percentage.

It is not really useful to monitor the ppc since it is always running at 100%.

However, you should watch your IXP's and make sure you have an everage below 50%.
