I think you are looking to change the CSS prompt

You can use following command to set it

prompt

To make it permanent do a save_profile.

Syed

hi Syed,

change with command 'prompt' can not see in running-configuration, correct?

i mean like router/switch we can see hostname in running-configuration..

before i'm try change with host name ip_address but no impact, still CSS11503.

Jerri

check the command "show profile".

Thanks all

Hi,

I have the same problem.

When people connect (through radius),they get the wrong prompt (CFHLB4 instead of CFHLB3)

This is my profile:

CFHLB3# show profile

@terminal idle 240

@prompt CFHLB3

alias all reboot "@configure;boot;reboo"

alias all dnslookup "@script play dnslookup"

alias all aca-load "@script play service-load"

alias all save_config "copy running-config startup-config;archive startup-config"

alias all save_profile "copy profile user-profile;archive script \${USER}-profile"

alias all logon "@configure;logging line ${LINE};exit"

alias all logoff "@configure;no logging line \${LINE};exit"

alias all commit_redundConfig "@script play commit_redundancy"

alias all commit_VipRedundConfig "@script play commit_vip_redundancy"

alias all shutdown "@configure;boot;shutd"

alias super monitor "script play monitor"

alias super install-gui "script play install-gui"

alias super upgrade "script play upgrade"

alias super setup "script play setup"

set CHECK_STARTUP_ERRORS "1" session

Do i need to bound this profile to something?

Can anybody help?

THanks,

Kurt

There are multiple profiles.

One for each user.

Do a 'show archive ?' to see the last of -profile.

Then do a 'show archive -profile' to see what prompt it contains.

One way to change it is to login as this user, set the prompt and save the profile.

Gilles.
