CSS 11506 - Passive Sync

When trying to passive sync the startup-config to the back SCM the CSS reports and error.

The image and boot config sycronised ok.

Is this a know problem and if so is there a fix.

The master SCM has a GIG uplink to another device where as the backup does not. Could this be the issue ?

The version of code is sg0740103.

this is most probably the reason of your problem.

Could you try to remove the gig interface from SCM1 or try to connect something to the gig interface of SCM2

Also, what is the error that you get ?

Hi Gilles

There is no specific error. It says "sync error" when trying to sycronise the startup config.

I will speak to the customer and see if we can remove the gig interface from the SCM. Will let you know the outcome.
