Think I made a big mistake. I was changing the password on a CSS. I did "username admin password xxxx"
Except I forgot to put the "superuser" after the password.
Admin was the only user I had assigned to the box.
Any idea how I can regain superuser access without a superuser account?
Thanks.
James

Keep this in mind when you're resetting the password:
Note: In some versions of the CSS, the switch does not overwrite if you use “admin” as the username. If you try this and it fails to reset the password, use another name.

Unfortunately, you are correct.
Another lesson learned! It wasn't so much that, its that I neglected to have a second login session to verify the username/password before I logged out.
Thanks!
