Everything that was fixed in 8.20.09 is also fixed in subsequent version like 8.20.4.02

Re: CSS rebooted without any reason.

Ondm Lifetick **FAILED** - slot 2, subslot 1

So this is a problem with slot 2.

There are kown bugs related to ondm lifetick failure

CSCek2368, CSCek4343, CSCek6360, CSCtb4564

Check them and see if they apply.

Or proactively load the latest software image.

Giles,

I confirmed you that I am running the latest software which is 8.20 now.

Kindly let me know do I need to proceed RMA of the module.

\On slot 2 I have CSS5-IOM-2GE module installed.

Thanks in advance.

Re: CSS rebooted without any reason.

This version is probably 2 years old.

8.20 is not the complete version.

It's 8.20.0.9

8.20 indicates what feature you have in your versin.

0.9 indicates this is the first version that was posted to our website.

So you currently run the oldest possible version in the 8.20 serie.

The latest one you can find on our website is 8.20.4.02

http://www.cisco.com/cisco/software/release.html?mdfid=274011470&flowid=137&softwareid=280836733&release=8.20.4.02&rellifecycle=&relind=AVAILABLE&reltype=latest

You should definitely upgrade as soon as possible.

Re: CSS rebooted without any reason.

Giles,

Thanks for the information provided.Highly appriciated.

Last but one question on the upgrading of firmware is: We took the 8.20.9 release from cisco due to we faced issues related to Fragmented SIP invites. Could you please let me know if this is been fixed under the 8.20.4.07 release? If not then I cannot do the upgrade due to this as this is very important for us and we cannot do more testing on the production unit.

Hope to recieve your response on this.

Thanks in advance and have a wonderday day.
