CSS scripting - How to build an auto YES answer in script files

Hi all,

I have about two hundred services that I would like to remove using a script.

Unfortunately to remove the service you need to confirm it typing Y in console:

--

CSS-(config)# no service service1

Delete service <service1>, [y/n]:y

CSS(config)#

--

How can I bulid this automatic "Yes" answer in my script file?

Best regards,

Vladimir

Re: CSS scripting - How to build an auto YES answer in script fi

Hi,

You can go into expert mode, where no confirmation is asked to make changes to the config of your CSS. Everything is applied directly, without the confirmation question.

you enable it by simply typing

CSS#expert

to disable it

CSS#no expert

Have a look at following document:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/css11000series/v6.10/configuration/administration/guide/Profiles.html#wp1015667

Hope this helps
