CSS vs. CSM

I have a CSS managing a nunch of network ports for keepalives. Cisco is suggestiong that I upgrade to their CSM product. Can anyone give me a comparision of the products and do ya'll see any reason to do this? Can anyone explain the differences to me from a hardware/software side?

Any assistance you can give me would be appreciated.

I'm surprised somebody told you to switch from CSS to CSM.

Nowadays the ACE is the new loadbalancer and normally this would be the right solution unless you need something very specific that ACE could not achieve.

What is the concern with the CSS ?
