CSS11500 - using servers in an active/standby fashion
Hi, this is a CSS newbie's question about how to tell a 11501 NOT to balance the load ;)
The setup is straightforward: I have two web servers (web1, web2) that are currently used in the default round robin fashion for client requests.
For one specific application I need a deterministic behaviour: all requests should be sent towards web1 as long as the service is up (regardless of the load). Client requests should only be directed to web2 as soon as the web1 service is down.
I thought about using extreme WRR values, but 1 and 10 are not extreme enough.. Any ideas how this could be configured properly?
