CSS11503 in one-arm adding virtual-routers best practices.

We have two CSS in one-arm working great.

We want to add the virtual-router config.

Are there any best practices?

Would critical-reporter 1 link make sense?

circuit VLAN1

ip address 10.0.0.160 255.255.255.0

ip virtual-router 1 priority 101 preempt

ip redundant-vip 1 10.0.0.151

ip virtual-router 2

ip redundant-vip 2 10.0.0.152

Matt,

you only need one virtual route per interface.

Link all your vip to the same virtual router.

correct.

If you want active/active you use 2 virtual-router with asymetric priorities so one VR is active on one CSS and the other VR is active on the other one.
