I have to implement one arm solusion and I have two interfaces currently.
I would like to do:
one interface for public VIP interface
another one for active/active failover
currently I have configured SSL using a internal circuit which is trunked with local server's circuit. Since local server will be moved out (make one arm structure), I would like to trunk this SSL used internal circuit trunk with VIP's circuit.
If it will cause any problem? Or any performence issue? Please advice
current struction:
interface 1/1
bridge vlan 100 - VIPs
interface 1/2
trunk
vlan 400 - local servers
bridge port-priority 255
vlan 101 - SSL config used
bridge port-priority 255
I want to make a struction as:
interface 1/1
trunk
vlan 100 - VIPs
bridge port-priority 255
vlan 101 - SSL config used
bridge port-priority 255
interface 1/2
bridge vlan 102 - for failover
Any comments will be appreciated
thanks in advance

the CSS does not care on which physical interface you configured your vlan's and trunks.
So, there is no reason why you could not do this.
As long as there is connectivity between CSS and client and server, everything should be ok.
