CSS11506 - Slot 0 to Slot 1 copy

Currently using a CSS1506 for our reverse proxy SSL.

I have a couple of questions

1 - Does the 11506 use an internal disk as well as the one in slot 0 ?

2 - I have a spare mem card in slot1, how can I copy all of the required boot files etc to slot 1 in case of a card failure in slot 0?

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers

Dave

Hi Dave,

Here are the answers you were looking for

1 - Does the 11506 use an internal disk as well as the one in slot 0 ?

No, it only uses the PMCIA cards

2  - I have a spare mem card in slot1, how can I copy all of the required  boot files etc to slot 1 in case of a card failure in slot 0?

The command is documented here:

http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/app_ntwk_services/data_center_app_services/css11500series/v8.20/configuration/administration/guide/Software.html#wp1067064

I hope this helps

Daniel
