We are reviewing the features of CTE-1400, and wondered whether any of you had tips or tricks on managing/installing the content transformation engine.
Is it a straight forward process to manipulate cgi outputs with the CTE-1400?
Has anyone transformed Remedy web pages to Blackberries, Palms, or cell phones?
Thanks!

You should be able to find everything that you're looking for in the online documentation at http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/webscale/cte1400/
The CTE has no problem transforming CGI content and is very straight-forward. Remedy is currently not supported but should be in the future. (I understand Cisco is working on support for this.)

Thank you, that's interesting - for what reason is Remedy not supported? Do you have a reference? I'm talking about the Remedy web application. If CTE can transform any CGI content, why not the Remedy web application?

The tac engineer I was working with says that Remedy uses a cross frame communication in their product and so the developers are working on support for it in the future.
