Do I need to remove Sticky session when removing cert from LB

Hi,

I have a situation which I need to resolve. I have a certifiate on my LB which also has a sticky session cookie to an internal server. I need to remove the certificate and place it on the client. So do i also have to remove the cookie as well

first, what kind of LB ?

Are you replacing the certificate with another one or simply disabling SSL on the LB ?

To be able to use cookie on SSL traffic, it must be decrypted first. So, if you plan on not decrypting SSL traffic on the LB anymore, you need to also remove cookie sticky.
