FLOWMGR-3: GroupComm should not deliver an FmPeer message to the sender!

Hi,

First : We have two Content switches in active backup setup

Version: sg0750103 (07.50.1.03)

Flash (Locked): 07.50.1.03

Flash (Operational): 07.50.1.03

Type: PRIMARY

Licensed Cmd Set(s): Standard Feature Set

The above error occurs on the master switch. Ip addresses and vip's stay alive. %Master remains master but doesnt seem to handle the backend flows.

In the logs I see alot of the following messages when the problems occur :

DEC 10 20:55:56 1/1 3160 FLOWMGR-3: GroupComm should not deliver an FmPeer message to the sender!

Does anybody know what this message refers to ?

this is actually a bad message.

The groupcomm process sees its own message in its queue. This should not happen.

I would recommend an upgrade to 8.20 and if the problem persist open a service request with the TAC.

Provide 2 'show tech' captured at 1 minute interval when the problem is there.
