In a GSLB environment running on CSS's is it possible to advertise the same VIP address from two different sites to achieve a DNS based Anycast solution with traffic routing to the closest VIP. I understand there is a restriction with the CSS which prevents APP peers for using the same VIP address for a content rule.
The CSM and SupIOS on the Catalyst 6500 platform support anycast through the IOS SLB and/or RHI features. If the CSS or other load balancer supports anycast, I'd be interested in hearing about it, as well.
