In an international Global Load Balancing network, I encounters some problems when using RTT values to select the best site. I would like to understand what the GSS does with the "Wait" option (proximity and DNS rule configuration pannels). If the Wait option is enabled in a long distance GSS network, it is likely that the RTT value returned by the DRP agent of the closest site arrives after other less attractive RTT values from other DRP agents. If the GSS does not wait long enough (and if the %zone is let say 25%), then the VIP returned to the client for the first request is not the best site...
my question is : how much time does the GSS wait until he takes a site selection decision ?
