GSS-TCP-Keepalive

The documentation states this command is used to designate the interface that is used for GSS keepalive communication. Are these keepalives used for GSS to GSS communication? Or are these keepalives for health checking VIPS? How does this command relate to the gss-communications command? Do both commands need to be applied to the same interface?

Re: GSS-TCP-Keepalive

Hi,

- gss-tcp-keepalive is used in interface config mode to specify the interface that is used for all the keepalives the GSS sends.

- gss-communication designates the interface IP address that the GSS uses for inter-device communication.

- these commands do not have to be configured on the same interface.

- the keepalives are used to monitor configured services. The state is then used to decide which service will receive requests.
