I wonder if anyone can help me change the router identifier displayed whenever I issue the "sho ip wccp web-cache" command. I'm currently testing the router web-cache transparent-mode redirection capability with my F5 Cache Server and I wonder if the router ID has any effect on the operations. Thx!
The router ID should not have any effect. The router ID in WCCP should be the highest IP on the router interface or Loopback address. If you do not like the router ID you can create a loopback address that is higher than the current router ID and change it.
