IOS SLB - Failed Real Severs

Hi,

Iam using IOS SLB on one of my 6509's.

Here is the config :

ip slb serverfarm SERVER-FARM

nat server

real 10.69.7.7 8001

inservice

!

real 10.69.7.10 8001

inservice

!

real 10.69.7.13 8001

inservice

!

!

ip slb vserver SERVER-LB

virtual 10.65.7.62 tcp 8000

serverfarm SERVER-FARM

inservice

The problem iam facing is that intermittently, all the servers show as failed if i run the command :show ip slb reals. Then after a few seconds they are operational. While they are in the failed state, i can ping the real Servers from within the switch.

As per the config, there are no probles,so how does the SLB know that the server has failed.

Regards.
