Due to the configuration on the company. They use 2 IP address. Joining 2 networks 192.168.7 and 192.168.1 so that the 192.168.7.*** can use one of the other systems.
Thank You, James Loebs

Hello Gilles
XP HOME ON 192.168.1.** AND 2000 PRO ON 192.168.7.**
NOT ABLE TO CONNECT TO EACH OTHER, both work fine on there own networks but need to share files.

ok.
This forum is for loadbalancers [CSS,CSM,...] and caching devices.
This is a generic network question, so I would suggest the network infrastructure forum.
If you want to share file accross a network, I believe you need some ip forwarder to catch L2 broadcast in 1 network and forward them to the 2nd network.
The command in each ethernet interface should be 'ip forward ...'
Gilles.
