Keepalive state

Hello,

I'd like to know if it is possible to keep a state in a scripted keepalive between each script execution. I guess it's probably possible thanks to a file but it's not very elegant solution.

Any idea?

the only solution is a file indeed, but this is really not recommended as we have seen that such a script kills the flash disk much faster than usual resulting in disk failure causing more trouble than you would want.

Gilles.

And is it possible to run a Keepalive without assigning it to a service. To explain my idea, I'd like to assign two KA to a service. Since its not possible I wanna script to check if both KA are up.

Thanks again,

David

You can create multiple services for the same server, each one with a single keepalive and only use in your content the service with the keepalive that check the status of the other services.

Gilles.

Okay, that's what I've planned to do.

Thanks for your time.

David
