Has anyone used the CSS to balance COM+ traffice? Developers have separated the COM+ from the IIS components for security reasons so the desire is have the IIS servers talk to a VIP representing multiple COM+ servers.

Thanks,

Brian D. Hamm

Hi Brian,

I have some developers attempting to do similar with multiple COM+ applications installed on number of different servers, which are attached to three separate VLANs. Therefore, each physical server is a client of a number of other load-balanced services. Which is causing me some routing issues in addition to the COM+ traffic as all traffic between VLANs must be routed through a CheckPoint firewall as opposed to the CSS.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks,

Paul
