load balancing outbound web traffic

hello

we're looking to install a couple of web filters (BLOXX) at one of our sites. outbound web traffic goes to a Cisco 6500 and out thro a PIX525. the 2 BLOXX filters are attached to a CSS 11500 which in turn is patched into the 6500.

i've setup ACLs and route-maps on the 6500 to redirect all outbound port 80 traffic to the 11500 and this part works fine.

what kind of services/rules should i be using to get the 11500 to send the outbound port 80 traffic to the web filters? any suggestions appreciated.

thanks

andy

Andy,

this is equivalent to transparent caching.

There is a sample config @

Gilles.

thanks Gilles

the sample config is very similar to what i've been trying except that the sample config content rule doesn't have a VIP. i created a group with a VIP and the 11500 now seems to be load balancing port 80 traffic - i'll test this further.

thanks for the quick response
