LocaDirector LB maintaining user specific information across farms

An online brokerage wants to implement three server farms with, two being http and one https. the customer wants to maintain user-specific information across all three farms such that if he is authenticated at the https farm and requests his account content from the http page he should not be prompted for login again. is this possible on LD. how do I let the LD know its the same user on http and https farm and his session on both farms should expire simultaneously and not one before the other.

the way I conceive it is

3 VIPs

http state maintained via cookie

https state maintained via ssl id

dnt know what to use for the two problems I mentioned above.

Re: LocaDirector LB maintaining user specific information across

I am not too sure if there is way to expire both the sessions simultaneously. Persistance does not do this. You may want to check the latest release notes for enhanced features which might support this. http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/iaabu/localdir/
