I know this question has been asked before, but I still didn't find an answer
I have 1 virtual and 2 real web servers - one is backup (running linux/apache for the time being, but is supposed to be 2 Lotus Notes servers on AS/400). When I stop the web service on one server, it fails - that's okay. When I cut the power to simulate a hardware failure the server still is In-service and never goes OOS.
I don't know if the probe config is right, but I does not seem to have any effect.
Here is my config:
ip address 172.29.17.129 255.255.255.0
arp timeout 30
no rip passive
rip version 1
failover ip address 0.0.0.0
no failover
failover hellotime 30
snmp-server enable traps
snmp-server community public
no snmp-server contact
no snmp-server location
virtual 172.29.17.131:0:0:tcp is
real 172.29.17.139:0:0:tcp is
real 172.29.17.136:0:0:tcp is

name 172.29.17.139 RHNTNWEB03C
name 172.29.17.136 RHNTNWEB03
bind 172.29.17.131:0:0:tcp 172.29.17.136:0:0:tcp
threshold 172.29.17.136:0:0:tcp 1
probe real 172.29.17.136:0:0:tcp http 1
probeconfig http 3
Thx for your help

I am not sure if you are referring to this thread:
If so then i guess the problem could be solved by upgrading the LD to the latest version.

The LD is up to date with version 4.2.4, so that should not be a problem.
